Mystery of History, The: Volume III Reader & Companion Guide Download

The Mystery of History Volume III includes the years of the Renaissance and Reformation, which were great years of growth and change for both the world and the church. It presents the years 1455-1707 through a Christ-centered lens, exploring the backdrop to and significance of major cultural and historical events alongside events in the history of Christianity.

Moving through time chronologically, achievements in art, music, literature, science and philosophy are studied using a Classical approach, with an emphasis on reading, writing,
research and hands-on activities.

The Mystery of History Volume III Student Reader is a beautiful, colorful, easy-to-hold hardback. Divided into 36 weeks, the reader is a standalone world history text for all ages to enjoy. But for those who wish to delve deeper, we have included a download code in each book for a digital version of The Mystery of History Volume III Companion Guide. The reproducible resources of the Companion Guide, also written by Linda Lacour Hobar, contain familiar and popular components of The Mystery of History series: pretests; hands-on activities and research projects for younger, middle, and older students; memory card ideas; bi-weekly quizzes and exercises; timeline helps; maps; supplemental book lists; and more.

Though it is recommended that Volumes I and II be studied prior to this volume, it is not necessary. Volume III can stand alone as a full course of Renaissance/Reformation history.
